My Christmas

Mom wants me to blog about my Christmas, so here goes.
It began on Christmas Eve, with the first service, I had a very nice dress on that mad me look really grown up. Pastor Aaron preached that night. I thought he did really well. After the service, we went home and got ready to have a mini party with crackers and cheese. Every Christmas Eve, each child in the Duffer family gets to open one present. Keli got a necklace from Mom, Tim got a Swiss Army Knife from Mom, Mark got clothes from Mom, and I got a new art set from our Secret Santa. The art set is extremely expensive, with REAL oil paints and high quality paint brushes. We messed with our new presents until 11, when we had to go to the 2ND service. I had to change out my shoes for high heels for that service. I swear, I was that close from tripping and twisting my ankle. Thank god I did not. The service was very serious, but funny when the Ushers forgot to give us our cup. We got it eventually, of course. When we got home, I was too tired to stay up, and slipped into comfortable pajamas and went to bed.
Morning came, and I got ready to go to church. Church was quick and uneventful, except for the end, when I had to say goodbye to Pastor Gene. I was really sad, because that would be the last time I saw him for a while. I would truly miss him. He is amazing. I would also miss little Noel. It is a blessing being able to see her grow up. It feels like just yesterday she was a little baby that just came from China.
After Church, mom put in the Ham, and we proceeded to open up presents. I got a lot of them, so here are the highlights:
Kodak Camera
Pandora Bracelet
Imagine Teacher (DSi)
Just Dance 3 (Kinect)
Joseph's 12 year old doll
LOTS of Clothes
boots!
Chain for my OM necklace
I got lots more, but those were definitely the best. We had Christmas lunch then went off with our new presents.
It has been a wonderful Christmas with my family. I am truly thankful.
