New Years Eve!

It is New Years Eve! Every year I have this weird tradition where I notice the "lasts" of 2011. For example, I had my last shower and my last nap of 2011 earlier. I do the same thing on January 1st, only I notice the "firsts" of 2012. It's quite fun!
These are my goals for 2012:
1.Keep my straight A grade
2.Finish my book
3. Bike my neighborhood each month
4.Spend more time with god, such as reading the scripture
Hopefully I complete all those things before 2013, or before the end of the world (just kidding). I am praying that 2012 will be an exciting and fun year!

These are some of my pictures from my camera:

Last Few Days

Monday- Monday was a very long day. We had to go out and exchange Christmas gifts. Only problem was, we went on the day where EVERYONE was out exchanging Christmas gifts. So the entire day was waiting and trying on Clothes, two things I do NOT enjoy. But I survived.
Tuesday- I had a great day. I got to sleep in for a while. When I did get up, I went to the computer and Skyped Chloe. It was great being with her. After we talked, I spent most of the rest of the day playing my new DSi game and being on the computer.
Wednesday- I slept in Wednesday too, but not a long. When I woke up, I went to the Living Room and I watched some Scrubs. I didd get to talk to Chloe again, but not as long. She had a friend coming over. At sunset I went outside and took some nature pictures.
Thursay- Today was a very relaxed day. It was cold, so I spentt a couple hours curled up on the couch with a blanket and the Kindle reading Catching Fire. Such a good book. I started playing Sims again, and have been really enjoying it. But I decided to stop and create a blog before I got too far behind.
I am having a great winter break. I am so dissapointed that it will end very soon. But I am glad my mom is off until Monday. We can spend the last few days together.

My Christmas

Mom wants me to blog about my Christmas, so here goes.
It began on Christmas Eve, with the first service, I had a very nice dress on that mad me look really grown up. Pastor Aaron preached that night. I thought he did really well. After the service, we went home and got ready to have a mini party with crackers and cheese. Every Christmas Eve, each child in the Duffer family gets to open one present. Keli got a necklace from Mom, Tim got a Swiss Army Knife from Mom, Mark got clothes from Mom, and I got a new art set from our Secret Santa. The art set is extremely expensive, with REAL oil paints and high quality paint brushes. We messed with our new presents until 11, when we had to go to the 2ND service. I had to change out my shoes for high heels for that service. I swear, I was that close from tripping and twisting my ankle. Thank god I did not. The service was very serious, but funny when the Ushers forgot to give us our cup. We got it eventually, of course. When we got home, I was too tired to stay up, and slipped into comfortable pajamas and went to bed.
Morning came, and I got ready to go to church. Church was quick and uneventful, except for the end, when I had to say goodbye to Pastor Gene. I was really sad, because that would be the last time I saw him for a while. I would truly miss him. He is amazing. I would also miss little Noel. It is a blessing being able to see her grow up. It feels like just yesterday she was a little baby that just came from China.
After Church, mom put in the Ham, and we proceeded to open up presents. I got a lot of them, so here are the highlights:
Kodak Camera
Pandora Bracelet
Imagine Teacher (DSi)
Just Dance 3 (Kinect)
Joseph's 12 year old doll
LOTS of Clothes
boots!
Chain for my OM necklace
I got lots more, but those were definitely the best. We had Christmas lunch then went off with our new presents.
It has been a wonderful Christmas with my family. I am truly thankful.

Catch Up

So, I have not blogged for like a month. I know I was supposed to finish my story about the weekend, but pretty much, all we did was saw the race then went home. The highlights of this past month has been the breaking of my glasses, the News of the Cornetts, the Wests, and T.J leaving, and winter break. It has been a slow month.
